ACRL MD Call for Proposals
Deadline: August 31, 2015, 11:59pm
Maryland Library Association & Delaware Library Association 2016 Annual Conference
Ocean City, MD, May 4-6, 2016.
Conference theme… Libraries: Unlocking Potential.

What’s the key to your success? What potential plans will you implement this academic year? There is so much potential here! Whether it’s been a multi-year plan in the making, or something you’ve just started to put together, we’d like to hear about it. Submit your proposal for a presentation at 2016 Joint Conference of Maryland Library Association and Delaware Library Association!

ACRL MD, the academic libraries division of MLA, is accepting conference proposals until August 31st. Consider new explorations in the library profession, or unique discoveries made about your library’s services.

Standard conference sessions (~ 1 hour), and extended sessions (~2 hours) will be offered. Exact program length will depend on conference schedule. The programs are scheduled throughout the day on Thursday and on Friday morning. The full- and half-day pre-conference workshops will be held on Wednesday, May 4.

Many sessions sponsored by the ACRL MD are relevant not only for academic librarians but also for our colleagues in other areas of librarianship. For information on recent topics, please take a look at the LINK to prior programming.

Proposals for concurrent sessions are due by 11:59pm on Monday, August 31. They will undergo a double blind peer-review.  If you have any questions about the conference or the call for proposals, please contact Claire Holmes (cholmes@towson.edu | 410-704-3795).
