SyncUp: Technology & Libraries for Community Success
Time is running out for your chance to share your ideas!

For thirty years Computers in Libraries has been bringing together librarians; information technology and systems professionals; internet and web gurus; information curators, designers and architects; archivists and museum professionals; and many more people interested in how technology can enable libraries to be strong community partners whether they are in public libraries, post-secondary or school libraries, corporate or government libraries, medical or law libraries.

Information Today, Inc., a key provider of technology conferences for more than thirty years with Internet Librarianand KMWorld, is pleased to announce the 30th annual and anniversary Computers in Libraries – the most comprehensive North American conference and exhibition concentrating all aspects of library technology. Libraries are all about communities, about bringing people and resources together for learning, growing and entertainment; basically synching up for success!  Computers in Libraries 2015 continues a long tradition of looking at emerging technologies, hearing from bleeding edge practitioners, and sharing case studies of innovative libraries, and insights from information industry leaders and watchers. Our programs are practical so that participants can apply what they learn at the conference in their communities. Join us and celebrate 30 years of library success!

Computers in Libraries highlights the creative solutions, technologies and practices that those working with computers in libraries or libraries in computers are dealing with today. It caters to all interests and all levels of knowledge, offering five simultaneous tracks plus many workshops, networking opportunities, and an extensive exhibit hall. This year’s tracks and themes encompass: Innovative Libraries & Practices; Internet @Schools; Community Engagement: Partnerships & Collaboration; Social Media, Learning & Literacy; Creative Making & Makerspaces; Digital Library Services; Integrating Systems & Strategies; Information Discovery & Search; Technology Planning; Managing Content & eResrouces; Web Tools & Leading Edge Technology; Architecture & Infrastructure; Managing Information and Knowledge Assets; eLearning & Training; Web Design & Development; Streaming Multimedia; and more. Speakers are knowledgeable, authoritative and focus on practical applications, “how to” solutions, and case studies as well as technical and managerial issues. Please consider sharing your knowledge, experiences and ideas; send us a proposal to speak.
